This book is intended to recognize abuse that happens to male adolescences, the brokenness abuse inflicts upon a person, and yet the hope and path of potential healing. As mentioned above this author is an abuse victim from the ages of 8 through 15 finally ending the night of the moon landing when this victim begged the abuser to stop, which amazingly, he did.
As the years went by this author learned that this abuser victimized many other family, and non-family, members. An abuser does not fit into a particular category or characterization for they can be any age, young/old violent/non-violent, tall/short, single/married, having been abused themselves or not, any race, any ethnicity, and even a stranger or a relative.
The main goal of this book is my desire to help facilitate healing and recovery to others who have experienced abuse in their lives and have the desire to be no longer be broken and to move toward experiencing healing and wholeness. The book will cover my abuse, experiences, interactions with others, and very importantly, an ongoing dialog with my own personal understanding of God and of the idea of the spirit witnessing to our spirit which will be intertwined throughout this book.
